Perhaps your Baugh line is related to mine.
My William Baugh was born 8 March 1792, in Laurens Co., South Carolina, and moved to Franklin Co., Georgia. 1794. He married Oct. 1815, Elizabeth Lindsay (Lindsey), in Jackson Co., Georgia. After she died (May, 1837,about age 41), he married Feb. 1838, Elizabeth Henderson. He died in Aug. 1862, in Gwinnett Co., Georgia.
He may have had a brother, Mitchell Baugh, who married 27 June 1822 Rebecca Lindsey (b. 25 Dec. 1792, d. 2 Jan. 1875 in Hamilton Co., TN). That marriage took place in Jackson County, Georgia. Rebecca Lindsey was (according to Donna Fitzgerald) the sister of my Elizabeth Lindsey.
William and Elizabeth had several children, including my ancestor, Caroline Baugh, born 20 March 1825 in Georgia. She married 5 Dec. 1843, William Henry Hood. She died 13 July 1884, in Corsicana, Navarro Co., Texas.
