Baugh - Bach - "water words"

Hi Bruce,

I've read your interesting etymological discussion. Don't forget that German and its antecedents aren't all that far from the Celtic languages (they are related Indo-Europeans and neighbors after all) -- so "Bach," the original name of the German Baughs who are my kin, is yet another water word, "brook." Of course "Baugh" used to be pronounced the way "Bach" is today.
