Well I depend on Holmes' book on the Farrars for straightening out the Farrar mess. William Farrar b 1682, m Sarah Farrar (maiden name) daughter of Thomas Farrar b 1662/65 m Katherine Perrin 2 Oct 1686, Henrico Co., VA. Thos. is son of Wm Farrar who m Mary (Pigot?) 1655. Wm Farrar who m Sarah 1682, is son of Wm Farrar who m Mary (Pigot/). Thus Wm and Sarah Farrar are first cousins with the same surnames.
I didn't have a spouse for Wm and Sarah's son Thomas. I don't have a Priscilla daughter for the couple either. Which is suspicious because I show 5 sons.
I do show a Priscilla Farrar as daughter of Wm Farrar and Priscilla Baugh, who m Robert Burton, b 1691, Varina Parish, Henrico Co., VA, d 30 Mar 1748, Goochland Co., VA. Is that the Priscilla you meant?
Do you know anything about the mother of this Robt. Burton?: Mary Nowell? I'm curious about her because I have a later ancestor, my gg grandfather John B. Farrar who m a Martha Novelle.
But most interesting is the Eliz. Farrar you have married to my ancestor Thomas Farrar. What is her pedigree? More cousin marriage?
