According to Monte Knight of Columbia, TN (he is not on the Internet), Daniel Baugh died in Putnam Co., GA in 1816.
The matter of James Baugh becomes quite confusing. I can trace the name through 7 successive generations of my line. That makes keeping them straight quite a challenge.
Many brothers had children named James. John is another name that is equally challenging to keep straight.
The Daniel to whom I refer above had a son named James. According to Monte Knight, he was borh in 1765 in VA and died 1 July 1843 in Williamson County, TN (just south of Nashville). Daniel had 12 children.
