Seeking info on Abslam Baugh married a McCullough and lived in DeKalb Georgia in the early to mid 1800s. Supposedly full blooded Choctaw but listed as white on census. Neighbors to Isham/Isom family where daughter Julia Ann Elizabeth Baugh b. 1822 married James Isham/Isom b. 1820 around 1838-1840. James was a 1st Liet. in army 1837 to 1838 in GA. He helped remove the Indians to OK. He apparently took his bride or bride-to-be and detoured to Pontotoc Co. MS where their children were born between 1842 and 1866. Any leads to confirming this family story welcome. Melinda Cook Notify Administrator about this message?
