I am searching for any information on Richard D. Baugh, he was Mayor of Memphis from 1857-1861. He was born in Powhatan County Va. 12-28-1814. His parents were Martin Baugh and Harriet Swan. We have a little more on him but the library cannot help us and City Hall has nothing. I can't believe when someone served the city as long as he did there would be no records. He moved to Holly Spring, Ms and Carrolton, Ms. and this is all we can find.
