How old was Nancy? According to my record (where I got it is anybody's guess), she was b. 1839(?) and her husband in 1859(?). Sounds weird, but then--
I plan to go to the National Archives next week here in Fort Worth--that ought to be fun with everyone else wanting to see the 1930 census, too--and check this new information. I am still looking for Elizabeth (Moncrief?) Gordon and proof her mother was married to John Moncrief, and later John Ramsdale.
Do you have any info in this regard?
