Major branches of Baugh and Waugh/Wauchope have two mullets in chief in arms (two stars in top third of the shield).

In the UK, the Baugh name appears first in Denbighshire of northern Wales. Arms containing wheat sheafs, such as the Wauchopes, are thought to have orginated under the Earl of Chester, who at times also held these Denbighshire lands.

The Warcop family of Cumbria, thought to be another branch of the Wauchope family, built Lammerside Castle just south of the present-day town of Kirkby Stephen, England. A little northward of Kirkby Stephen is the town of Warcop and Warcop Fell (Fell, as in barren or rocky hill). A little southward of Lammerside Castle are West Baugh Fell, Baugh Fell, and East Baugh Fell.
