I would love to know more of what you have learned about Jennett Farguson Ashbrook. There is record in 1678 Henrico Co. Orphan's Court of her son Robert Farguson seeking the inheritance his deceased father had left him. Information I have seen recently from more than one source states that Robert Farguson (died 1718 Henrico. Co.) was married to Martha Baugh. Reportedly they were parents of my ancestor, Moses Farguson (died 1750 Chesterfield Co.), although I personally have not verified this from official records and know of informed researchers who say this relationship is probable but definitely not proven. Moses Farguson was also married to a Martha (died 1778 Chesterfield Co.)but to my knowledge her maiden name remains a mystery Ferguson family researches would love to solve.
