Bauerle's in Louisiana

My maiden name is Laura Lee Bauerle. The story I have is that Bernard Frederick Bauerle (my great-grandfather) came to the US and was naturalized in Sioux City, Iowa in 1864 (I've seen the naturalization records)he married Bertha Gross from Michigan and he was a carpenter. They moved to Hammond, Louisiana and had several sons. I'll post more later.
