New Ancestry Lead..
My Great-Great-Great-Great Grand Mother and Grand Father of over 224 years ago.
PARR (Pfarr, Paar, Par), Johann
BAUER, Maria Katharina Elisabeth
Married on 21.2.1777 in Edigheim, Germany.
Records state that he lived in Ansiedler, Germany in 1788 and moved to Ugartsberg, Galizien the same year. She lived in Ugartsberg, Galizien as of 1796.
They had 2 sons…
1) Friedrich Peter PARR (Par, Paar) who died on 13.02.1812. (I assume in Ugartsberg)
2) Johann Philipp PARR (Pfarr, Paar) who was born Feb 1777 in Flomersheim, Germany, and died on 26.05.1829. (He is the ancestry line that I descended from.)
They were all Reformed Evangelists by religion.
My Grandfather Wilhelm Parr and his Family (wife and 4 Children) came to Canada between 1927 and 1929 from Ugartsberg, Galicia to Saskatchewan, Canada. Some of their Children migrated to Ontario to find work, including my Mother.
Today I live in Toronto, Ontario Canada with my wife Eva Sedlak, from Yugoslavia, and our son Robert Anthony. (Surprisingly he has Red Hair.) We have all adopted the PARR surname.
I am searching for any records or family trees that may exist for all related Parr lineage before those listed above. I am very curious to see if there is any linkage back to England where its said that the PARR surname originates. However I think it is named after PFALZ. The region where I believe they may have come from.
