You may have already found this information since you posted this message: but I'll "share" this with you...Monika (our Grandmother) came over from Germany on a ship called the "George Washington". I believe she was 19 years old. There is other information regarding her voyage ie: dates
I recall the ships manifest listing another Kohlbauer. It was a male. They list them coming from different towns/provinces. This information was available through: Ellis Island.org (not sure off hand of address)
