I am looking for any info regarding Christoph Bauer: imm. from Dettingen-Wuertenberg Germany in ~1885
m. Henrietta Wiederstein and at some time was in Texas, as John William was born in Bell County Texas in December of1887.

It is possible that Christoph came to the US via Galveston and connected with the Wiedersteins there before making his way to Iowa

Any help would be appreciated!
