I am looking for descendents of Johannus and Catherine (Franke) Bauer.
They were in Syracuse NY. in 1847 and moved to Dane Co. WI. in the early 1850's
Johannus was born in Germany and Catherine was from France.
My great grandmother (their daughter) Magdalana Maria Bauer married Max Rudolph Albert Schmidt in McCauleyville Minn. in 1876 and moved to Ft. Abercrombie ND.
If anyone can help me find other members of this family, I thank you.
