My maternal grandmother, Hedwig Lina Bauer, was born October 22, 1875 in Werdau, Saxony, Germany. Her parents were Johann Gottlieb Bauer and Wihelmina Ketzel. She had one brother, Ernst Bauer, who married Emma (last name not known). They had four children: Gertrude, Else, Frieda & Kurtz. Daughter Gertrude Bauer married a Mr. Sarunskis and they had three children: Gerhard, Werner & Siegfried.

My grandmother, Hedwig Bauer married Franz Heinrich August Kwiatkowski November 20, 1900 in Werdau. Franz was tradesman (machinist & marble finisher and moved to follow work available. They lived in the cities of Plauen, Leipzig, Magdaburg & Berlin before emigrating to Montreal Canada in 1912. Any information about the Bauers & Ketzels and their relatives Saxony would be appreciated.
