Mary Bauer married Jacob Messner in 1849 in Alsace-Lorraine in 1849. They came to the US around 1851. Lived in Gowanda, Ellicottville, Alden NY area(western NY) Mary d. 1859 I believe he remarried. Children were Ben, Ignatious, Clementine,Abbie, Mary, Barbara and Jacob. Barbara (my gggrandmother) married Thomas Leary. Their children: Rosa, Abbie, Otto, Josephine and Leo.
