I have the following information about my paternal grandmother......ANNA BAUER, daughter of AUGUST BAUER and ELIZABETH SIEBERT was born in GUDENSBERG, HESSEN-WASEAU (sp?) -1879. At age 4 she came to US with her mother. she married Robert Martens/Martin at age 18 in 1897 at St. Paul's Evang.Luth, Ch. in B'klyn, NY. they had 3 chldren.
Anna died in 1970. Her marriage certificate lists her husband as Robert Martin although the family used the name of Martens. Does any one know anything about these people?
