The Bauer's on my line are either from Germany or Russia. I have no idea where. But they are the following:
Christina & Mr. Bauer (don't know his first name) married (no date for that) and had 6 children. John, George, Christian (born 1859 - 1950), Julius (born 1861 - 1919), Jacob (born 1865 - 1936) and Sophie (my great, great grandmother born 1867 - 1934).
Christian married Sophia Bower (another Bower!!) and had a son, Edward (born 1889 to 1940). I don't know if they had any other children.
Jacob (also called Jake) married Christina (1859 - 1950) and had daughter Christina (1897 - 1955). I know of no other children they had.
Sophia Bauer married Conrad Huber. She is my great great grandmother and he my great great grandfather. They had 12 children, 5 of which died as infants. They are (excluding the ones who died): Ottilie b.1889 (my great grandmother), Christine (b1898), Edward (1901), Conrad (b1903), Emma (1904), Eugene (b1907) and Amelie (b1909).
Ottilie married Philip Kirschenmann who is from Germany (Ottilie's father is from Kremm, Russia). They had 10 children. I have all those children and their husbands and children if this is of interest to you.
I am looking for anything before the first Bauer's I wrote above.
