Hi, and thanks for responding:) Yes, both the birth and death dates you give for your Theresa Bauer match those of the Theresa I'm looking into. And, of course, Iowa matches too. All I had on Thesesa's whereabouts in Iowa was that she and her husband Anthony were in Ottumwa. Would that by chance be in Marion Co.?
I'm pretty sure that Gasser is right; this Anthony Gasser seems fairly-well documented. His and Theresa's children were mostly born in Dubuque Co., IA.
As I said, I'm really just stabbing in the dark trying to find my known ancestor's parents, and hope that maybe one of Anthony/Theresa's sons will fit the bill!
If you ever find more about your Theresa's husband/children, please let me know.
