My information is very sketchy. Edward H. Bauer married Mary Susie Davenport on 05 April 1881 in Montgomery City (?), MO. They were divorced and Susie moved the two smaller children (my grandmother, Carolyn Leon Bauer Barnes and my great-aunt, Alberta Merril Bauer Quin) to Brewton, AL. I know almost nothing about Edward Bauer except the love letters and poems he wrote Susie.
Edward and Susie's older children, Adah and Frederick, stayed with their father until school was out. I assume they then joined their mother.
I am so anxious to know anything about Edward Bauer. My grandfather hired someone back in the early 1900's to find out about my grandmother's father, but information back then was extremely limited and difficult to obtain.
I will be extremely grateful for any information you can share.
