My great grandmother was Barbara Bauer (abt 1835-1895) daughter of John Bauer and ???. She was born in Bavaria, Germany and died in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She married John Konrad Dirner Aug 1854 in St Mary Magdalen Church Honesdale PA, sponsors were Petrus (Petra?) Bauer and Simon Betz. A Franz Bauer was a baptismal sponsor of one of their children. A Rosina (Rosana?) Bauer sponsored another child. A Francis Bauer and Eva Schmidt sponsored another. I have little info on the parents or siblings of Barbara and no specifics about her birthplace. Are any of these people in your family tree?
