I am not sure but there could be a link to this family & mine, for my grandfather had mentioned that there were Bauer family members in Michigan that he used to see during the summer when he was little, but due to some family feud, that stopped a very long time ago. My grandfather was Martin Joseph Bauer Jr, sone of Martin J Bauer Sr. My grandfather's brothers & sister were - John A. Bauer (Buddy), Martin Bauer (my grandfather - Marty or Jr), Clarence Bauer, Anna June Bauer (married & retired nurse, possibly lives in Mich), Edward James Bauer (Eddie). They are lived in the Chicago area in IL.
