I am looking for information on John C. Bauer/Baur listed on the 1860 census in Monroe County Ohio. Birth place listed as Switzerland. Was 60 at the time the census was taken. Wife listed as Catherine age 47 place of birth Prusia. Children are as followed all born in Ohio, John age 20, Catherine age 15, and Frederic age 5. Also had a older daughter Elizabeth married to Andrew Hamell also of Monroe County.
