I am looking for any family of Josefa (or spelled Jozefa) BAUER. Josefa was born 1877 and died July 22, 1937 in Windisch Minihof, Austria, and was buried July 24, 1937 in St. Martin an der Rabb, Austria. Jozefa's parents were Micheal BAUER and Teresia GOSIR
Josefa BAUER married Johann ROPPOSCH and the two lived in Windisch Minihof. They owned a restaurant in Windisch Minihof which sold food,wine, and had gambling. It was later inherited, and lost, by their daughter Rosina (Rosa) ROPPOSCH who renamed it "Rosina Ropposch Gasthof".
Josefa BAUER and Johann ROPPOSCH had 7 children Josefa (ROPPOSCH) ZOTTER, Stefanie (ROPPOSCH) KAHR, Maria (ROPPOSCH) LEHRNER, Rosina ROPPOSCH, Gisela ROPPOSCH, Johann ROPPOSCH, and Ilona (ROPPOSCH)ZIGLING.
At the time of Josefa BAUERs birth, she would have been born in Hungary, as the Burgenland region became part of Austria in 1921.
Josefa also had a cousin Louis ("Louie") BAUER who lived in and was buried in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
