Larry,

The Banks McLaurin "Baucom Book" lists Nicolas Baucom Jr, the father of Dennis, in 1790 Montgomery Co NC census; 1800 Spartanburg Co SC; 1810 & 1820 (unknown); 1830 Perry Co TN.

So Dennis b.1812 (GA in 1850 census and b.Tn in 1860) both in Perry Co TN is a tossup :(

In 1840 Dennis (Balcom) lived in Hickman Co, TN.

Someone with access to ancestry might locate him in GA?
