Hello Heather;
Good luck on your journey through our name. Different spelling variations will make a fun time of it, but you will find out what you need to know if you find that one person that knows your dads history. I am from birmingham alabama, and I dont know any of my family that is from mizzou. I could give you a couple of names and contacts if you would like to see if you are related to my side. I wonder if all Baucoms are related regardless of spelling variations, I am still doing research as well. There is a dna project on the baucom name, just google it and you may be a part of it.
