I have been trying to find any type of record that will connect Newton Franklin to Anthony Baucom. By word of mouth Anthony is the father of Newton. Anthony is listed on the 1870 Newton Co., Ar census with his wife and two daughters, no one else. Newton was born ca. 1882. I have his marriage certificate to Rachel Jane Cowan. On the marriage license he is listed as N. F. Bacuom. I have not been able to find any census records after 1870 for Anthony or Newton. Can anyone help?
