Dear Ima,

Your email distresses me. I went thru my files and yes, I did receive some information from you and you also offered to help anyway that you could, which I deeply appreciate. I did agree to send you what up-date information I had on your family and according to my files, I did this quite some while back, but I did not promise a free book, though I wished I could. The book as it stands now is over 2,000 pages and yes, it has taken me longer than expected. But since my husband passed away I have spent every day working on the Baucom families, by any spelling, trying to make certain that it is as correct as it can be, and I have done a lot of research in doing this. I will receive no pay for this and I also ask for NONE, I am doing it because I agreed to an update because my husband's line was mis-reported. This update turned into a full book because of errors and missing families in the book done by Banks.

I will re-send the file on your family in an email and I am sorry to hear that others have not returned the favor when you send information. But I have grown used to this as I send information all the time and all I ask is for corrections and addition if they care to share them.

I recently took two months away from this project, which was very badly needed as I was totally burned out. While editing the book, I found some more mistakes and am working on them now, but due to my health problems I am unable to spend the long hours sitting at the computer that I used to which helped to contribute to my leg problems.

I am working as fast as I can to complete this book and I am not even certain at this time if it will be affordable. After talking to some printers and publishers, the cost may be too high. So how do I cut the size of the book down?

I am truly sorry for any mis-understandings!

Marietta
