Looking for information regarding Martha Baucum (she married (1) James Cooty (Cody, Coody) and (2) Joshua Rutledge). Martha was born circa 1826 and died 1890 in Lauderdale Co., MS. Martha married Joshua Rutledge circa 1858. Martha lived for a period of time in Choctaw Co., AL
Trying to estalish the relationship between this Martha and (1) Asa Baucum who purchased land in Choctaw County, Alabama, and (2) Thomas Thompson who also lived in Choctaw County.
This information is for a friend who doesn't have computer access. Her name is Mary Seymour, and she lives in Modesto, CA.
