Hello Joan, I am hoping that you might be able to help me with this. I am looking for a William Batty father of Thomas Batty (born 1881 in Barrow in Furness). Thomas married "Margaret Mary Ingram" from Croydon in 1910. Williams occupation as stated on Thomas' marriage certificate 1910 was simply "clerk". Thomas' occupation in 1916 was listed as Shipyard clerk. I have no other information on either William or his son Thomas. I am hoping that Thomas might be a brother of Arthur and you can help me get back on the path of tracing this family line. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Barry.
