Where does my family come from?

My name is Eddie Battle. I dont know where my family comes from, some people say we were maybe shipwreck survivors from a Spanish ship, others say we are maybe from America. Somebody elses message said that we were light skinned Negros. I dont know, maybe we were. Thats maybe the reason why I am good at Basketball. Anyway, If somebody somewhere has info for me, please, please mail me.
