My family and I are restoring the Rev. Thomas Battle Cemetery located in Monroe Co., Georgia. Thomas Battle was born in Nash Co., NC on 14 Aug 1786 and died in Monroe Co., GA on 16 May 1883. He was married to Mary (Polly) Baker Battle who was born on 13 June 1792 in NC and died in Monroe Co., GA on 26 April 1864. The cemetery contains many graves of their children, grandchildren and related families.
