Hi Veronica:

I wish I could give you some useful information, but I don't really have much. However, looking at your request, I can't help but wonder if we have a connection. On my Chapman side of the family, my third great-grandfather, Henry Edward Chapman, married a Frances Missouri Battle in Nacogdoches CO, TX, Sept. 13, 1855 (this is from http://www.genlookups.com/texas_marriages/tx-nacogdoches-grooms2.htm.) It appears that the ceremony was officiated by an Isaac Battle -- I'm not sure if that's her father, a preacher or a justice of the peace, but I have never been able to find anything further on Frances. I wonder if your Missouri is related to my Frances?
