Does anyone know of a Sarah Battle that married a Lewis Vincent Pilcher. I am telling you, this has been the toughest nut to crack for me! I have various sources that say that he married her, and others that say he married _____Crutchfield or Crushfield. HELP!!!! He was born circa 1839 in the Sumter Co., GA area and she was born circa 1835 also in the Sumter Co., GA area. She is also listed as the daughter of John Randolph Battle and Lettie Ellington! Does this sound familiar to anyone out there??? Please help put this to rest and e-mail me if you have any info at all that you would be willing to share!
