My grandfather is another Robert Battle and he is from Cleburne, Texas. He also has a copy of the Battle book. Dr. William James Battle that wrote the book was the President at the University of Texas at Austin from 1914 to 1916. There is now Battle Hall on campus. I work for the university now. I am interested in any information you may have as I am just starting my search.
