I will pursue this by checking out the 1880 census and anything else I can think of to get the names of Anthony Battle's 8 children. This Anthony Battle is the one that Justin Battle is writing to Gerald Battle about in "Origin of Irish Battles-PartII, dated Sept. 24, 2000. Anthony's brother, William, is my 2nd great-grandfather. He settled in Vernon Twp., Isabella Co., MI.
