I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to trace my ggg-grandmother through her first husband, hoping I can get a lead that way.

JANE ADAMS married JESSE BATTLE in either Troup or Harris? Co, GA in about 1835-36. He died within a year or two, and she later married John Walker, also of Georgia. Since Walker and Adams are so numerous, I'm hoping the Battle connection can help.

Jane Adams Battle Walker and her husband, John Walker, later moved to Chambers Co, Alabama with their son Green B. Walker, and then on to Claiborne Parish, LA where they died.
