I found out from Robert Battle that Eliza's line comes from: John, who immigrated to America in 1654
through William son of John born in 1684 in Va., William was married to Sarah Hunter.
Through John son of William. b. 4-30-1709,in Va., married to Sarah Brown.
Through Jesse son of John b. 7-8-1738 in N.C. married Susanna Faucette.
Through William Summer son of Jesse b. Va. 10-26-1761. Married Sarah Whitehead
Through Joseph John son of William Summer b. Ga. 9-12-1786 Married Rhoda Henrietta Whitehead.
Eliza Whitehead Battle daughter of Joseph John, b. Thomasville, Ga. 12-22-1810. Married William Maddison Jeter,
Eliza is my GGGrandmother.
