Hi Adolfo,
Our family was friends with a Bianchi family that lived in Newton . We also had other Battista friends in Newton (I do not think they were related though, just friends). My sister tells me that my grandparents Tom and Rose Battista were from Fortana, Lire, Caserta, Italy (this info was on the birth certificate of my oldest aunt , Marie.) There is also a story about my Grandmother's brother who lived in southern France but I don't have any infoi on him.
My mother, Viola, was the fourth oldest child, and married a German (!!!) descendant from Philadelphia; my Dad's name (still alive) is Larry Baeringer. He has German, Dutch ans English heritage (his mother's maiden name was Baker). So, my mother broke the Italian chain! My parents had 5 children, 4 girls, 1 boy.
I live in Natick, Mass. My husband (Messuri) is Italian/Irish/Portgeuese and we have one child, a girl.
Sincerely,
Roberta (Battista) Baeringer Messuri
