Rachel wasn't all that young. In 1838 when her father died she was under 11 but as the others were between 11 and 17 (Abraham) I assume she was over 8. Elisha and Catherine were in their teens. Catherine may have married but I cannot find the record. If the others were alive I should have found papers on a setlement with them in James' Estate file but I didn't. It is possible that when I requested a copy of everything, I ws only sent a part. I wonder if the Mormons have estates in Carrol Co. on film.
Ann Battin Sanders was not, as I remember, mentioned in her husband's estate records. That would make her dead in Ccolumbiana Co. I don't find her in the MM records either which is odd.
