My interest in your post is as follows: One of my grandfathers' reportedly married a Battiest etc as shown below
Daniel Anderson b. abt 1760-17-70 Va. d. date unknown and burried in Spring Station Ok.
Spouse Michou (Jenny Battiest) We think Choctaw Indian Princess daughter/sister of Nitiketchi a Choctaw Chief related to Pushmataha.
Solomon Anderson b. 1779 Ms Territory d. Jefferson County Tex. Feb 1858.
M. Ruth Turner (Liliketchi) daughter/sister of Nitiketchi
reportedly Choctaw Indian Chief relative of Pushmataha.
Son Solomon Anderson Jr. b. Feb7, 1809 Ms Territory d.Sept 14, 1883 in Washington County, Al Wife Eliza Booth.
