To those descendants of James Batten b. 1741; d. 1811 buried in Hopewell Meth. Cemetery in East Brandywine Township Chester Co. Pa., he has finally been honored for serving in the Revolutionary War, thanks to a volunteer. On his grave is now a medallion and 13 star flag.
