I am not sure if I'm related to this Nathaniel Batson, but I came across his will and have always kept it in case he somehow ties in to my Nathaniel who married Anna ??. Cousins perhaps. janel@drstamping.com In 1840 Brown Co., OH a Nathaniel Batson left a will. He didn't name his wife, so she must have preceded him in death. He named children Samuel, Thomas, Margaret Robason, Robert Batson, Anna Garrison, Ephraim Batson, Stephen Batson, Rebecca Garrison, James Madison Batson, and John Batson. James and John were made executors of their father's estate and given the majority of money and property. His son Stephen went to Greene Co., MO as did others. It seems as though my Batsons went the route of NJ, VA, PA, OH, then to Indiana, with others going to Missouri. Will of Nathaniel Batson. Will book 2, 1838-1851.
