According to E.A. Martin (Stithians Families: a cornish community), the Tristram who emigrated to S. Australia on the 'Calabar' was married firstly to Ann ?Harris?......children were Ann (bap 1826), William (bap. 1828) and Tristram (bap. 1832)...this Tristram being yours.Tristram Sr married secondly, by 1839, Susanna Jennings (1795-1885)....their children were Henry (bap 1839 Truro) & John (b. ca. 1842). Thus, the two older children stayed behind, & the younger three emigrated with their parents. Please seek out E.A. Martin's book from your library or Family History Society. There are sooooo many Tristrams, Johns, Henrys....etc
Does anyone have their lines tracing back directly to the original Wendron Bath family?Would be interested to see what you have & share what we have found re medieval Bath families.........we have theories and are trying to prove/disprove the hypotheses.
