Hi,

I'm looking for Martin Batey's sibling linage and information in regards to his parents and grandparents if possible.

The information I have on Martin Batey is as follows:-

Martin Batey
(born 24.8.1802, Cornsay; died 11.8.1874, Sunbury. Victoria. Australia)
Married
Alice Place Robson
(born 23.3.1819, Durham; died 23.4.1903, Sunbury. Victoria.Australia)
Had 11 Children (info obtained)

Migrated to Australia aboard the S.S. Fergusson, departed Plymouth 28.9.1840, arrived in Melbourne (Liardet Beach) 15.1.1841 and started the Australian Batey branch.

Martin Batey came from the following Cornsay based family branch;

Isaac Batey, c 8.2.1764, Haltwhistle, married 26.11.1793, Elanor Dodd, Haltwhistle
Had 5 Children

1. Isaac Batey, c 13.7.1794, Cornsay, Durham. d 31.12.1819
2. Mary Anne Batey, c.3.7.1796, Cornsay, Durham.
3. William Batey, b 7.1.1798, Cornsay
4. Edward Batey, b 5.12.1799, Cornsay
5. Martin Batey (born 24.8.1802, Cornsay; died 11.8.1874, Sunbury. Victoria. Australia)

I have some fragmented information in relation to Isaac Batey’s parents, which may or may not lead back to his potential grandfather William Batey (b 9.11.1714, Haltwhistle).

I'm trying to piece together from Isaac (born 1764) backwards in the Haltwhistle/Cornsay area. Any info would be fantastic.
