My Great Great Grandmother is Laura Bates -born 23 jan 1853 in Wilnecote,Warwick England.
Her father was Edward Bates (a Dairyman) and mother was Hannah(Landers)(Sandland)???
My Great Great Grandmother Laura travelled to Geelong Victoria ,Australia and married a Thomas Davis and had a son Edward Archibald Davis,Hannah Davis,Thomas Edward Davis ,Laura Davis and Priscilla Davis -they were all born in Rockhampton Qld Australia.
Edward Archibald Davis is my Great Grandfather- his son Cedric Davis is my Grandfather and his daughter Betty Davis is my Mother .
Any information about the davis family in Warwickshire would be interesting for my family tree
