Erie Co. Oh. Marr. through 1838. Huron was created from Erie in 1838..My ggreat grandfather John Simmons ALBRO Sr. (m) Ruhama/Ruhanna BATES Dec. 25, 1838 (d) abt 1841-44. Also listed Barbary BATES (m) Francis ADAMS Feb. 19, 1932--Henry B. BATES (m) Phebe ROOT June 12, 1822--Henry BATES (m) Polly CRANDELL Apr. 9, 1826--Hulda BATES (m) Seymour MERRIFIELD Mar. 28, 1822..Any one know if any of these Bates are related to Ruhama BATES/ALBRO..We know her and John had a son Truman S. Bates and BELIEVE a son name James B. although James military paper has mothers maiden name as BOWMAN (this may be just an err). Also James (m) a BARNES and his military papers were signed by a BARNES..I would really like a lead to her parents and siblings..Will exchange. Post or email.. Thanks Vera Casteel in MO.
