Sorry I don't have any info to help you, but I was wondering if the children of John and Catherine might somehow be connected to the Batemans I've been searching for!
I have a JOHN and CATHERINE (?) BATEMAN, no further info on dates, but both remained in England.Their daughter, MARY ANNE BATEMAN was b. 1857-8 in ?Cardiff, England. She d. 3/9/1939 in Wakefield, MA.

BOLTON.
