Alexander(1816-1858) married Elizabeth ROBB/ROBE(C1820-1893) C 1844. I believe him to be the son of Thomas BATCHELOR and Rosina WATERS/WATTERS (married 20 Aug 1812) and baptised by them in St Cuthbert's, Edinbugh, Lothian, Scotland, on 15 November 1816. He shows up in Montreal City Directories beginning in 1844, and was a gunsmith and locksmith there. His son, Alexander, carried on the tradition. Alexander Jr married Adeline MARCOUX, daughter of Jean-Baptiste MARCOUX and Marie DUROCHER.
Alexander had a brother, Thomas, baptised 15 Feb 1814 and Margaret, baptised 14 Mar 1815, both also in St Cuthbert's. I have, so far, found no other children and I don't know what happened to this couple. I believe Thomas Sr may have been the child of Ninian BATCHELOR and (Unknown) LINDSAY. I have found a baptism for a Thomas by this couple in 1790 Kilconquhar and a baptism for a John in 1788 in Anstruther Easter.
