Seeking information including obit for John Batchelder; born July 1, 1786 sp. in Maine; died 1888 at age of 102 in Michigan (Jackson County, Blackman) where he was living with his oldest son, Ira. John was widower of Sophia Wing Batchelder. John's 100th birthday received extensive coverage in area newspapers. His parents unknown except he claimed his father served in the Revolution. Any information as to antecedents, exact death date, place of burial, etc. greatly appreciated.
